Donel Autin, Chief Financial Officer

When Easterseals Redwood formed in 2022, Donel joined us as CFO to share his extensive insight and experience in finance. He previously worked for 20 years at International Paper, where he eventually led the spinoff, merger and IPO of Xpedx/Veritiv, one of the country’s largest distribution companies. He also has worked in real estate development and construction as Partner and CFO of North American Properties and the CFO of Model Group, both in Cincinnati.

He graciously shares his talents as president of the Loveland City School District Planning Commission, as a member of the University of Cincinnati Board of Executive Advisors in Real Estate, and as a founding board member and vice president of NEST Community Learning Center. Founded in 2016, NEST (Nutrition, Education, Safety, Transformation) tackles barriers that perpetuate the cycle of generational poverty in suburban communities.

Donel is a veteran, serving six years in the US Army National Guard, including mobilization to active duty during Desert Storm. He attended college at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge where he earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in finance. True to his Louisiana roots, Donel can expertly cook, boil, and eat crawfish.
