This is really a case where you’re not donating money, you’re investing money into the community — investing into people and into their futures. There clearly is a return on this. People emerge out of this experience with Easterseals renewed, rejuvenated, and with a path in front of them toward independence and success.
Our entire family has been involved with Easterseals for several years but only recently experienced first-hand the true power of work that its people and programs provide. It’s an amazing organization that instills pride in the people it serves, gives purpose to those in need, and creates brighter futures for everyone it touches.
For over 15 years, Easterseals has been an invaluable partner with Messer in furthering the goal of increasing diversity in the ranks of construction workers. The combination of Messer’s ability to teach the technical skills required and Easterseals’ ability to support new workers with work hardening and the soft skills needed has opened real career opportunities to the clients of Easterseals.
