Speech Therapy
Communication is more than just the act of speaking. We help children and adults find the best way to communicate, even if it is not through spoken words.
Our speech-language pathologists evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adults. We also provide interventions for swallowing disorders in children and adults. We work in tandem with families and caregivers to ensure that the individual receiving therapy is receiving the support needed to achieve independence.
We specialize in Augmentative and Alternative Communication, which allows individuals with limited verbal speech to communicate using low through high-tech communication systems.
A selection of these devices is available to support communication development in our Assistive Technology Resource Center.
