Building Value Receives $50,000 Grant from U.S. Bank Foundation

CINCINNATI, OHIO – Easterseals Redwood today announced it has received a $50,000 Community Possible grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation. The grant will be used to support the essential training wages, tools and workwear of our participants at Building Value, a social enterprise accelerating careers in construction for people facing economic and employment challenges.

“Creating opportunities for our community that address equity and environmental impact requires resources, and we appreciate the support from the U.S. Bank Foundation, which helps us continue to build and expand Building Value in its 20th year of operation,” said Pam Green, President & CEO of Easterseals Redwood.

Easterseals Redwood aims to advance 100% equity, access and inclusion for people with disabilities, military veterans and people facing disadvantages in our community. Its social enterprise Building Value is committed to a triple bottom line of social, environmental and financial performance. Building Value has diverted over 12 million pounds of material from the landfill and trained over 300 individuals for careers in construction.
